Dr. Jeff Olivarez is a new clinical assistant professor in the Department of Veterinary Clinical Sciences and he joins the Agriculture Animal Medicine and Surgery team. After he earned a DVM from Oklahoma State University, he entered a rotating internship at the University of Tennessee, and then completed a Large Animal Internal Medicine residency at Iowa State University while earning his master’s degree in science. His clinical interests include small ruminant parasitology, urolithiasis, and pharmacology. Outside of the hospital, Jeff spends time with his two cats (#proudcatdad), reading, hiking, becoming an amateur film critic, listening to podcasts, and figure skating.
