Biography

Dr. Natasha Hottmann is a clinical assistant professor of small animal surgery in the Department of Veterinary Clinical Sciences. Her primary clinical interest is orthopedic surgery, including developmental and degenerative diseases such as elbow dysplasia and cranial cruciate ligament disease, as well as trauma cases such as long bone fractures. She is passionate about teaching residents, interns, and veterinary students, as is an active member of the CVM Teaching Academy. Her primary research interests include veterinary surgical education and training, biomechanics of orthopedic surgery, and clinical surgical outcomes.
