Your Health is Important to us

Counseling & Wellness

We offer free, confidential counseling to DVM professional students, graduate students, and veterinary residents and interns. Our counselors can provide assistance with many life issues, including academic stress, relationships, depression, anxiety, grief, crisis intervention, and referrals.

Wellness workshops and other resources are available to everyone in the college. Faculty and staff are also eligible for services through the WSU Employee Assistance Program.

Our counselors can also assist you with locating a medical provider, psychiatrist, therapist, or other service that meets your needs or finding information about providers on the Cougar Health Services Referral Guide for Community Psychological Providers.

If you’re a current student, resident, or intern, log in to the college’s internal web to see additional available resources.
