The Program for the Assessment of Veterinary Education Equivalence (PAVE) is a pathway for veterinarians who are graduates of non-accredited and international veterinary programs to practice in the United States. Among other things, one requirement of the PAVE program is to complete an evaluated clinical experience at an AVMA-accredited veterinary college. When spots are available, this one-year experience is provided through the Department of Veterinary Clinical Sciences.
