Alyssa Riley attended two different one-room school houses when she was growing up in eastern Montana. From unincorporated Volborg, MT, Alyssa now has a job lined up right down State Highway 59 at Broadus Vet Clinic, a busy mixed animal practice; she’s soon to be doctor number four! “God has given me these talents – I want to use them to honor him by serving as a vet. I want to make a difference for animals and the people whole love them; for livestock and the people who depend on them,” she said. Riley did her first year of veterinary school at Montana State University. She likes to hike, hunt and fish. She also likes her pets: Mama Jelly, 5, a domestic long hair that thinks she’s a dog; Cloud, 4, a stereotypical domestic short hair; and Grace, 3, a black Labrador and “the Goodest of girls.”
Alyssa’s favorites? “Jesus, my family, my boyfriend Kyle, my friends, my kitties & Grace, mac n cheese, Montana, fluffy puppies.”
