Fourth-year veterinary student Audrey Spaeth could be the best unicyclist in the Class of 2021, and she may have visited the most states, too: 47.

Audrey, a Seattle native, graduated from Portland’s Reed College with a degree in biology. She hopes to return to the Willamette Valley this summer as a small animal general practitioner and is currently looking for jobs in the area. “I really like forming relationships with clients and feeling like I am helping them in tough times. I also love science, medicine, animals, obviously, and doing hands-on work,” she said. “Being a veterinarian lets me indulge in all of these.” On the Palouse, her favorite weekend stop is the Moscow Farmers Market. “I have never failed to see at least one classmate there and I love all the weird and beautiful crafts,” she said. Come May, getting a dog is Audrey’s No. 1 post-graduation goal. Outside of her veterinary life, Audrey enjoys history books, camping, and volunteering as a Girl Scout leader.
