Conrad Reisenauer (2021 DVM), a fourth year veterinary student at Washington State University, is interested in production medicine. Originally from Eastern Washington, he began his bachelor’s degree at Washington State University with a major in Animal Science Pre-Vet and a minor in Business Administration. This is when his passion for production cycles was set into stone as he worked at the WSU Knott Dairy Center throughout undergrad, instilling the importance and love for the industry. As a veterinary student in the WIMU Regional Program, he is active in many clubs including Veterinary Business Management Association and American Association of Equine Practitioners. He has also worked on a research project with racehorses on the WSU racetrack in addition to being an avid intramural athlete. When he graduates in 2021, Conrad plans to work in a mixed animal practice working with mostly large animals. In his spare time, he enjoys horseback riding in the mountains and participating in 5K runs. Last summer he participated in a half marathon and attended the Theriogenology conference in Philadelphia.
