Meet the Class of 2024: Teagan Davis

Veterinary student Teagan Davis with a bird on his shoulder.

The challenge of figuring out what works best for his clients and patients is Teagan Davis’ favorite part of veterinary medicine. Now in his fourth year of veterinary school, that passion for medicine that benefits his clients and patients continues to propel his dream, and it hasn’t wavered.

It’s simple: “I love the medicine aspect, and I love the animals,” Teagan said.

Teagan, a Midvale, Utah, native who completed his Bachelor of Science in zoology with a minor in trumpet performance at Weber State University, plans to work at a small animal general practice or small animal emergency clinic.

And if you are looking to hire, he is looking too.

Teagan is also drawn to working with exotic animals, which is why he hopes to own his own lizard or snake soon enough.

Whether it be mental or physical, Teagan loves games of all kinds. He also enjoys learning new languages and cultures. Unfortunately, all recreational activities have been put on hold for the North American Veterinary Licensing Examination in November.

Fun Fact: Teagan loves all things spicy.
