What are your best tips for incoming students:

Seek out study groups, don’t compare yourself to others in the program, be open-minded on people’s point of view, seek help, and remember you were made to be here!

Club opportunities are:

There are so many clubs that one can join during their vet school career. Coming into vet school I thought it would be a time commitment I wouldn’t be able to do. However, once I joined about five clubs I learned that most of the clubs didn’t clash with my schedule or other club activities. I also took on an officer position for one of the clubs I joined and I don’t regret anything. Clubs give me a broader perspective of the veterinary career path and what I could potentially do once I graduate.
