Biography
Dr. Lexi Botting (Schlamp) is a Clinical Instructor assisting students in Junior Surgery and the Department of Simulation Based Education. Dr. Botting joined the team in January of 2025 after moving from Louisiana. She earned her veterinary degree from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2021. Following veterinary school, Dr. Botting worked in animal shelters across Louisiana in addition to assisting in the Junior Surgery course at Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Botting has a particular interest in shelter medicine, helping students grow confidence with surgical skills, and community outreach.
