Biography

Dr. David Lin has a joint academic appointment in the Voiland School of Chemical Engineering and Bioengineering and the Department of Integrative Physiology and Neuroscience. Dr. Lin studies movement and posture at multi-scale levels, from locomotion to single muscle cells, to elucidate how the musculoskeletal and nervous systems enable a diverse set of motor behaviors. His work includes both experimental and computational methods. Dr. Lin is dedicated to teaching undergraduates in Bioengineering and graduate students in his multidisciplinary laboratory. Courses that he has developed and taught include Bioinstrumentation, System Physiology, and Biomechanics
