Biography

Phil Mixter has been teaching undergraduate bioscience and professional program students at Washington State University for over 25 years. He works to connect current students with their career goals while engaging them with relevant scientific concepts. He strongly believes in student collaboration and networking as they develop professionally. He works to connect recent alums with current students to retain STEM students and nurture professional networks. He continues to enjoy collaborations with colleagues focused on science instruction and workforce development, including participation in the Teaching Academy of the Consortium of West Region Colleges of Veterinary Medicine.
