Biography
Dr. Shelden’s research interests are currently focused on bioinformatics, microscopy, image analysis, and cancer cell biology. Prior to 2019, his research focused on the function of small heat shock proteins in muscle cell physiology and stress responses using cultured cells and zebrafish as a model system. His current experience includes computational analysis of RNASeq data, cloning and molecular biology, cell culture, quantitative analysis of fluorescent probes, cryosectioning and mouse tail vein injections.
