Ashlyn Monigold will wrap up her degree in neuroscience at WSU this month. From Libby, Montana, Ashlyn plans on beginning dental school in 2025.
How has WSU prepared you for your future?
WSU has given me so many connections and relationships that I feel like encouraged me to push myself, which has prepared me for my future in the big world!
What’s your favorite place at WSU?
My favorite place is the Panda Express in the CUB because it has saved me during many long days/nights on campus!
What’s your favorite course you’ve taken at WSU?
My favorite course was Cellular Neurobiology with professors Varnum and Wayman because I learned so much and felt like the professors really cared about my success in neuroscience!
Do you have a job?
I’m a dental/orthodontic assistant and I assist in all things braces, Invisalign, and retainers!
What’s one of your favorite hobbies?
I love going to the lakes back in Montana and spending my summers outside.
What’s a unique fun fact about you?
There are four mules at my house back in Montana!
