Biography
Dr. Nora Hickey is a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Veterinary Clinical Sciences and the Aquatic Health Section Head at the Washington Animal Disease Diagnostic Laboratory. Her work centers around education and outreach for aquaculture stakeholders in the Pacific Northwest. Prior to her three years working at WADDL as the Aquatic Health laboratory manager, Nora worked for six years at Northwest Indian Fisheries Commission providing veterinary services to tribal fish hatcheries in western Washington. Nora received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
