2020-21 WSVMA President

Dr. Rick DeBowes was elected to serve as the next Washington State Veterinary Medical Association president for the 2020-21 fiscal year. He was also elected to serve a three-year term on the WSVMA Board of Directors. Dr. DeBowes has been a faculty member in the Department of Veterinary Clinical Sciences for 20 years. He teaches and coordinates the practice management course (VM 591), is a motivational speaker, and conducts programming for leadership, team building, practice management and communications. He was also instrumental in the Cougar Orientation Leadership Experience, a week-long wellness exercise for first-year veterinary students.
