- Restored morale and presided over an era of significant growth in personnel and facilities.
- Believed any dean would accomplish all he was going to accomplish in 10 years
- After he resigned in 1961 he went to Pakistan to help create a veterinary school in Lyallpur, and was appointed dean of that new college.
