Kay Yarborough Nelson Distinguished Professorship in Feline Health

Nicolas Villarino has been named the first Kay Yarborough Nelson Distinguished Professor in Feline Health.  The appointment is a five-year term.  Dr. Villarino, a member of the college’s Program in Individualized Medicine (PrIMe), has found a genetic marker for chronic kidney disease in cats and is currently developing a test for cat owners.
