Israt (Lipi) Turner-Rahman is the new director of development in the College of Veterinary Medicine. Lipi comes to the college after holding a similar position at the WSU Libraries, where she worked for 28 years. In her new role, Lipi will focus on elevating the college’s undergraduate, research, and graduate programs.
Dr. Christine Haake will complete her residency in Veterinary Anatomic Pathology Residency this summer. Her residency has allowed her to handle a variety of interesting veterinary cases, in addition to assisting with research projects on various species, ranging from moose to smallmouth bass.
Associate Professor is the recipient of one of Washington State University’s highest leadership honors.
The expanded service, which will take advantage of a newly repurposed facility and pasture on Terre View Drive, will be dedicated to clients seeking equine reproductive care and will nearly double onboarding space for mares, foals, and stallions at the hospital.
Kolton Morgan was one of our amazing students who graduated earlier this May. Kolton, an Elma, Washington, native, competed an undergraduate degree in biochemistry and plans on joining the Washington State Patrol and pursuing a career as a forensic scientist.
