WSU veterinarians find young hawk new parents

A nestling Swainson’s hawk found this past summer outside an Idaho bar is likely now more than 6,000 miles south enjoying the Argentine sun thanks to WSU and a pair of adult hawks that called Pullman home

Meet our educators: Dr. Ryan Baumwart

Ryan Baumwart joined Washington State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine in May 2020. A full-time cardiology assistant professor at WSU’s Veterinary Teaching Hospital, Dr. Baumwart arrived in Pullman with a vision for advancing animal health through his students.
