Meet the Class of 2026: Anna Muszynski

Anna Muszynski is show with a horse.

Hometown: Snohomish, WA

Undergraduate Degree: Animal Science, Zoology (WSU)

Area of Interest: Equine, Theriogenology

For as long as she can remember, Anna Muszynski has envisioned herself as an equine veterinarian.

That dream will come true after graduation, when she heads to Ellensburg for a rotating internship at Central Washington Equine Hospital.

“I truly believe it is my purpose in life and that I was made to be an equine veterinarian,” she said. “Horses have been such a big part of my life and have helped me through my hardest moments, so it will be a privilege and an honor to help them and their people through hard moments of their own.”

During her time at Washington State University, Anna embraced every opportunity to learn — from joining clubs and hands-on labs to teaching as a peer instructor in the Clinical Simulation Lab.

“The endless opportunities to learn new things throughout vet school at WSU has been invaluable,” she said. “While I am set on heading into equine practice, I do believe I could go in any direction of practice with the thorough education I’ve received.”

Outside of her studies, Anna loves hiking, backpacking, and cooking, and she’s a dedicated Swiftie who attended Taylor Swift’s “Eras Tour” twice — including a last-minute Vancouver show the weekend before finals. It was her “worst, best decision ever.”
