When Mill Creek, Washington, native Aspen Harder discovered WSU’s neuroscience program in the Department of Integrative Physiology and Neuroscience, she knew she had found her ideal fit. Now a senior in the program, Aspen is gaining hands-on experience as an undergraduate researcher in the Rossi lab, where she studies the relationship between alcohol and the cerebellum.

Megan Foster has been helping to ensuring pets get the best care and are kept safe as a pharmacist at the WSU Veterinary Teaching Hospital for the past two years. Originally from Ellensburg, Washington, Megan earned both her bachelor’s and pharmacy degrees at WSU.
Inspired by her former dog Cake, WSU veterinarian Jillian Haines has become a global leader in transforming care for pets with the once-hopeless condition megaesophagus.
