The Cougar Career Conference is expected to become an annual event and will feature a panel of nearly a dozen alumni, many of whom graduated within the past two years.
Dr. Shane Hentges takes over for Professor Steve Simasko, who has chaired the program since 2008. Hentges received her doctorate in neuroscience and bachelor’s degree in genetics and cell biology from WSU.
Olivia Willis and Jacob Foster, senior neuroscience students pursuing a pre-medicine track in Integrative Physiology and Neuroscience, are the 2021 recipients of the Peter A. Zornes Memorial Neuroscience Scholarship.
