The $1,000 annual scholarship was established through a $25,000 endowment from WSU alum Michael Bellinghausen.

Born and raised in Havre, Montana, Tom graduated from Havre High School in 1972. In the early 1970s, he developed lymphosarcoma of the colon. A turtle that was illegally taken from the wild and can no longer be released now has a home in the lobby at the Veterinary Teaching Hospital.

Dr. Craig Nishimoto (‘84 DVM) was awarded the Washington State University Alumni Association’s highest honor – the Alumni Achievement Award.
