Dr. Steve Lampa teaches some of the critical core classes, including small animal anatomy, large animal anatomy, and neuroanatomy, to veterinary and neuroscience students at WSU.
Dr. Emily Qualls-Creekmore hopes her research will lead to a better understanding of how stress affects physical and mental health. She joined the college in June of 2021 as an assistant professor in the Department of Integrative Physiology and Neuroscience.
Anna Blackburn recently joined our Small Animal Surgery team as a veterinary assistant, but she ultimately has her eyes set on becoming a veterinarian herself.

Dr. Nelson is the lead cardiologist at WSU’s Veterinary Teaching Hospital. She is also passionate about wildlife and works closely with zoos and animal refuge programs to assess the heart health of animals like bears and great apes.
Tasha Bradley obtained her veterinary medicine and surgery degree from the University of Nottingham, England, in 2017.
